Made those cuffs for a friend who wanted to do a craft trade. Pretty much improvised and I guess my first original pattern. I hope she loves them. Also sending her a pair of crochet bead earrings.

I am FINALLY getting my sewing/craft room. It's not going to be much, and it will be cramped, but it will be A ROOM. I am excited.

Friendship Cake

My current cooking adventure is friendship cake, which takes 30 days to make. I got the starter from Michael's aunt and also the sample of the cake, which is AMAZING. I don't care if only old ladies do this, I'm old at heart, haha. I'm on day 20; just added the cherries today. 10 more days until I bake! Yes, I'm excited. Winter

I've been working at the dining room table, or at least trying to, but there are so many beautiful distractions. My mom through some seed out on the deck for the birds to eat while the snow is still on the ground, and we've had lots of visitors.
